Athena Software conferences
Our staff regularly attend conferences around the world to help spread the word about Penelope case management software and how it can work for health and social service agencies like yours. Here's where we'll be next!
Tech Jam 2018 - Kitchener, Ontario - Feb. 27
Athena Software is growing rapidly and we currently have openings for lots of new Athenians! Our friends at Communitech regularly host Tech Jam job fairs to help tech companies in Waterloo Region find talented candidates in the area, and we'll be joining them at the upcoming Tech Jam event at Bingemans in Kitchener, Feb. 27, 2018.
If you're looking for a career at a growing software company in Waterloo Region, come and see us at the Jam!
Late 2017 found us busy on the conference trail around the world - here's a few highlights from our travels!
FRSA Conference - Melbourne, Australia - Nov. 22-24
We're also eagerly anticipating our return to the Family & Relationship Services Australia National Conference at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia Nov. 22 to 24.
We first exhibited at this major annual conference in 2010, and have been regular visitors ever since. The theme for this year's meeting is "Connecting The Dots: Creating Wellbeing For All - an opportunity to promote creative ways to strengthen wellbeing across the family life course – together, and by connecting people, sectors, disciplines and many more ‘dots’."
We can't wait to meet with family and relationship services providers and community service organisations from across the country, and to show them how Penelope can provide them with the simple, smart and connected client information system they've been looking for - we're also looking forward to catching up with our existing Australian clients as well!
CWDA 2017 Conference - Sacramento, California - Oct. 4-6
We'll be busy in California in early October, as you'll also find Athena Software at the CWDA 2017 Conference at the Sacramento Convention Center from Oct. 4 to 6.
The CWDA is the County Welfare Directors Association of California, and their annual conference is expected to draw over 850 people from the human services field who work with children, families, aging adults, and individuals across California.
Our Manager of Business Development for the U.S., Scott Collins, will be at the Athena booth for the duration of the conference, and is looking forward to meeting attendees and showing them how Penelope is software designed for human services organizations like those represented at CWDA 2017.
EAPA World EAP Conference - Los Angeles, California - Oct. 3-5
Later this fall, we'll be attending the EAPA World EAP Conference at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in Los Angeles, taking place Oct. 3 to 5.
Our Director of Client Success, Dana Fox, will be at the Athena booth throughout the conference, and will be ready to answer your questions about Penelope or to show you a brief demonstration of how our EAP software features can help benefit your organization. If you're at the conference, be sure to stop by and see Dana at booth 219!
Held annually by EAPA, the conference is the largest gathering of employee assistance professionals in the world, with attendees from over 35 countries. We're looking forward to it!
First Work Futures 2017 - Collingwood, Ontario - Sept. 26-28
Athena Software will be attending the Futures Conference taking place at the Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood, Ontario from Sept. 26 to 28, organized by First Work - Ontario's Youth Employment Network.
The event will gather hundreds of talented leaders and change makers - including service providers, government officials, and industry and academic professionals - who are committed to strengthening the youth employment sector and advancing opportunities for Ontario’s youth.
Athena is one of the conference sponsors, and we'll also be presenting Penelope during a breakout session on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 9 a.m. Our presentation is titled "Demonstrating Outcomes for Youth Through Integrated Case Management Software.”
We'll look at how Penelope can be used in organizations serving children and youth, and how it can be configured to reflect your programs and services. This will be an interactive session, so there will be plenty of time for questions and discussion relating to specific agencies. Here's a quick rundown of the presentation agenda:
- brief introduction of Athena Software and Penelope
- survey and discussion with attendees
- examples of integrated Penelope assessments
- examples of client/youth engagement technology
- reporting on your outcomes to funders and the public
Futures has been designed to be the most important gathering for thought leadership within the youth employment sector in Ontario. Athena’s role at the conference is to educate attendees on how they can use technology to collect consistent information on the youth they serve, use it to better their service delivery, and showcase results to funders and the general public.
