Rules and Security in Penelope
Penelope’s internal logic and extensive security settings help guarantee the health of the data you collect.
Your organization can create an unlimited number of security classes to make sure that staff have access to the relevant data and features they need, while protecting them from information they don’t need to see.
Role Based Security
Access to client data and reports can be restricted based on a staff’s role or security level.
Software capabilities can also be tailored to the needs of the staff or volunteers using them. By limiting the availability of certain functions, you can avoid confusion and any unauthorized changes.
Duplicate Client Records
When doing a new client intake Penelope will check to make sure a duplicate is not being created. If there is an existing client profile Penelope will warn staff members in order to avoid confusing duplicate information.
Penelope is a HIPAA compliant software. That being said It is up to each organization to ensure that they meet their own legislative security requirements.
