Athena Software launches next Webinar series [August 20, 2011]

Athena Software is pleased to announce a new ongoing series of weekly webinars. The next series will begin September 8 and is scheduled to run every Thursday at 11 a.m. EDT and 2 p.m. EDT, covering a different feature or process in Penelope each week. Please find our schedule with details on the content of each session below. Clients are welcome to sign up for one or many of the weekly sessions as appropriate for your needs. These sessions are only for clients with a valid support contract and are free of charge! Our first webinar series ran from May to July 2011 and was so much fun we've decided to make this a regular occurrence in our calendars. Hope you enjoy them!

 

NOTE: a separate schedule has been posted on our help site for our international clients. This schedule will include the same topics but with a modified schedule and time.

 

DETAILS - We will be using GoTo Meeting for the webinars. Many of you will have used this as part of training sessions with Athena -- for those who have not, GoTo Meeting is a screen-sharing and audio conference tool that allows multiple users to 'join' a meeting and see the screen of the presenter.

 

If you are interested in attending any or all of these sessions, please register by e-mailing a response to webinars@athenasoftware.net. We will confirm your registration and then send an e-mail with the relevant GoTo Meeting information during the week prior to each session.

 

NOTE: Because of a built-in attendance limit to GoTo Meeting sessions, organizations will not be able to sign up multiple users for the webinars.

This doesn't mean that only one person from your organization can view the session, just that only one can register. If you have a board room and projector, for example, multiple people could view the session at the same time. The attendance limit for each session is 24 -- registration will be confirmed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

NOTE: In order to try and keep each session to a running time of around 60-90 minutes, there will be no two-way audio component to these sessions. That is, you will be able to hear us but we will not be able to hear you. If you have questions during the session, however, you will be able to text these using the chat feature in GoTo Meeting -- we will then respond either at that time or at the end of the session.
