Penelope is pleased to announce the launch of our very own Moodle site!

But wait … what is this 'Moodle,' you ask? Well, if we were to tell you that Moodle stands for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment, would that give you a hint? Probably not.

So, we will put it this way -- Moodle is an application that allows users to sign up and register for courses, each of which contain multiple learning topics -- much like an online educational course. So consider this your University of Athena, where the professors are friendly, grades don't exist and where no-one will ask you if you know whether that's going to be on the midterm.

Our Moodle site can be accessed by visiting our lush green campus at: https://penelope-cloud.com:50002. To register, please e-mail Neil McDonald at neil@athenasoftware.net and/or Melissa Arcand at melissa@athenasoftware.net (preferably both), stating your name and agency. We will create a user account for you and e-mail you the login and password information. Agencies can have as many 'students' as you like enrolled at any one time.

Our university is still under a little bit of construction -- at present, you can enrol in our System Administration course and our Basic Processes course, both of which provide many handy step-by-step guides on setting up your Penelope system and using it, respectively. We are currently creating a Billing course which should be available soon as well.

Each course also contains its own forum for you to post your comments and questions.If interested, please e-mail us at your convenience -- there are no time limits on the courses, so you can enrol at any time. And don't worry … we have expelled all those rowdy members of Chugalug House.
