We're pleased to announce that Athena Software is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. To commemorate this occasion, we'd like to take this opportunity to celebrate the people who got us here -- our clients!
  • In 2001, Athena Software was born from the idea that a versatile case-management software solution would be of great benefit to social service agencies and the varying needs of both their staff and clients. The result was the development of Penelope, an advanced client information and case management application for behavioural health and social service organizations. Though based in Waterloo Region (an area in southwestern Ontario known as Canada's Technology Triangle), Athena has grown steadily to become a company with a truly global reach -- Penelope users can be found coast-to-coast in North America, as well as in Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Caribbean.
