Case Management and Counseling Software for Student Health Services

With PenelopeCase Management and Counseling Software, social workers / therapists / counselors can enter assessments, custom case documents such as service plans, sessions notes, logged telephone calls and more into client case files, which are conveniently accessed from their homepages. Students are paired with a social worker / therapist / counselor through their participation in programs (eg. career counseling, personal counseling), and counselors have restricted access to case information depending on their involvement in the case.

Student counseling reception areas are often small and open to other students, thus, we have added an optional self-entry kiosk, where students can quickly and confidentially enter their own intake information, which is then accessed by the front desk staff and intake, who will assign them to the most appropriate program and worker.

Social workers / therapists / counsellors may book their own schedules with clients when they see them, but may more often have times booked for them. The schedule can be flagged by counselors to indicate not only when they are normally working, but if they want to reserve certain times for new intakes or special drop-in times, they can flag the schedule with special characters. Each counselor’s schedule is conveniently listed on their homepages and front desk staff have easy access to the schedule of the whole department including both case and non-case services. Finally, appointments can easily be cancelled or rescheduled (freeing up the counselor’s schedule for new bookings) and no shows and cancellations by therapist recorded.
