Based in Pittsburgh, Cimend has developed a program that will read the X12 835 electronic transmission of claim payments and denials and update your billing information in Penelope accordingly. Cimend's 835 tool is an exciting new add-on for use with your Penelope system allowing you to receive and process payments faster, with detailed reporting on payments (either full or partial) and denials. Penelope's existing EDI feature allows you to easily create electronic claims for submission to funders -- the 835 module can now help you process electronic payments with equal speed and ease.
